Application

These stainless steel elements are corrosion-resistant and suitable for use in various water tanks. They are great for heating water in domestic hot water cylinders, water tanks in caravans, boats, workshops, etc. Additionally, they can be used with waste vegetable oil for biodiesel production, home brewing, and preventing water freezing in livestock drinkers or raised ponds during winter months. By connecting the heater to a 12v battery charged by a solar panel or wind turbine, it can automatically warm the water as needed with a thermostat.

Note

For users with a gas hot water heater, placing an electric unit ahead of it can help optimize energy usage. As a diversion load, such elements can be connected to batteries via a charge regulator to heat water when batteries are fully charged.
